Organosilicon defoamers are emulsion/oil-based high-efficiency defoamers made primarily of polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS)*, combined with emulsifiers, hydrophobic silica, etc. They are currently the most widely used and cost-effective broad-spectrum defoamers in industrial applications.
