1. Overview

This PBT Glass Fiber Reinforced Compound is a high-performance engineering thermoplastic designed for applications requiring excellent mechanical strength, rigidity, and dimensional stability. With 20% to 30% glass fiber content, this grade offers superior heat resistance and creep resistance compared to unfilled PBT. It is a non-flame retardant (General Purpose) grade, ideal for applications where flame retardancy is not required.

5. Processing Guide

  • Drying – 110-120°C for 3-4 hours (mandatory to avoid hydrolysis).

  • Melt Temperature – 240-270°C.

  • Mold Temperature – 60-100°C.

  • Injection Pressure – Medium to high.
