Q1: How close does PU stone look to real natural stone? 
A: Extremely close. Each panel is moulded from an actual natural stone master, so the texture, crevices, surface irregularity, and colour variation follow real stone rather than a repeated printed pattern. The panels also carry a 3D relief that gives genuine shadow and depth — most people cannot tell them apart, even up close, without touching the wall.

Q2: How much lighter is it than real stone? 

A: Roughly one-tenth to one-twentieth the weight of an equivalent natural stone veneer. A panel that would take a two-person lift as stone can be carried in one hand, which removes the need for mechanical handling and vastly speeds up the work.

Q3: Does the light weight mean I can use it where real stone cannot go? 

A: Yes — this is one of its biggest advantages. PU stone can be installed on lightweight partitions, upper-floor and apartment walls, ceilings, and feature walls in existing buildings without structural reinforcement, all of which would be impractical, expensive, or impossible with natural stone.

Q4: How is it installed? Can I do it myself?

 A: Panels are cut with an ordinary hand saw or circular saw and fixed with construction adhesive directly onto flat, dry substrates — or screwed to batten framework for larger areas and ventilated facades. There is no mortar, no grouting, no pointing, and no curing time, so a wall can be completed in hours. DIY-capable, though a professional finisher will achieve the cleanest edges.

Q5: Will the joints between panels be visible? 

A: No — the panels use interlocking and overlapping edge profiles that nest within the stone pattern, so joints are concealed naturally. Matching corner and edge pieces are available for external corners, terminations, and sockets.

Q6: Can it be used in bathrooms or outdoors? 

A: It is water and moisture resistant and handles bathroom and kitchen splash areas well. For outdoor or semi-outdoor use, install on batten framework to keep the substrate ventilated, and avoid prolonged standing water or direct ground contact unless the appropriate exterior grade is specified.

Q7: Does it feel cold and hard like stone? 

A: No. Polyurethane has a slightly warm, resilient surface that is more comfortable to the touch and softer on impact than stone or ceramic, while still feeling solid and rigid when installed.

Q8: Will the colour fade or the surface crack over time? 

A: The colour is UV-stable and fade-resistant, and the polyurethane construction is impact-resistant and far less prone to cracking, chipping, and breakage than brittle stone or ceramic tiles — including during transport, cutting, and installation.

Q9: What styles, colours, and sizes are available?

 A: Multiple stone styles, including split-face rock, stacked ledger stone, cliff stone, and brick-face effects, in a range of natural stone colours, plus custom colours and patterns for bulk orders. Panel dimensions vary by style, and custom sizes are available.
