How can I confirm manufacturability?
Upload your CAD file and our platform’s DFM algorithms instantly check geometry, wall thickness, overhangs, and tolerances, showing on-screen feedback within seconds. For complex projects, our engineers provide a manual DFM review within one business day with actionable suggestions on design, process, or materials. Early review eliminates rework, shortens lead time, and ensures a smooth path from design to production. Upload now for instant feedback or request an “Engineer Review.”
What makes Akinotek different?
Unlike sourcing platforms, Akinotek integrates real manufacturing, engineering, and automation. We run our own facilities plus 800+ audited partners under unified QC. AI-driven quoting and DFM give instant insights, reducing communication and delays. We support full NPI—from design validation to packaging—with dedicated account management and global logistics, trusted by top firms in home appliance, medical, automotive, and electronics.
How fast can you deliver?
Lead times vary by stage:
Product design – ID: 1‑2 weeks, MD: 2-3 weeks
Prototyping (CNC, 3D printing, vacuum casting) – 1-2 weeks
Tooling/mold making (including T1 samples) – 4-6 weeks
Production (small or mass) – 1-2 weeks
Additional services (packaging, assembly, logistics) are scheduled per project. For a precise overall timeline, submit your 3D/2D drawings, material, and quantity—our system will estimate it instantly.
What finishes and colours are available?
We offer anodizing, powder coating, painting, electroplating, brushing, bead blasting, and polishing for metals and plastics. Custom colours via pre-coloured resins or RAL/Pantone post-finishing, with colour consistency and gloss control. See our Surface Finishing and Materials pages for details.
Do you provide material certificates or test reports?
Yes. We can supply mill test certificates, RoHS/REACH compliance reports, and third-party inspection documents. For critical parts, we also include dimensional inspection data, CMM reports, and FAI documentation with your shipment.
Do materials and processes comply with EU standards?
Yes. Most common materials (aluminium alloys, stainless steel, engineering plastics) comply with RoHS and REACH. We can provide supplier certificates or third-party test reports upon request. Please specify your required standard (e.g., RoHS 3, REACH SVHC) when ordering.
What if parts don’t meet specifications?
Every part undergoes strict verification—trial production, inspection, testing, and customer confirmation—before shipment. Our QA process ensures all parts meet agreed specs, minimising non-conformities. Every shipment is jointly approved by our engineers and your team.
