Grand Hyatt Changsha is located on the bank of Xiangjiang River, enjoying the beautiful scenery of Xiangjiang River. The interior design of the hotel is inspired by the Chinese ink-washpainting of two masters of traditional Chinese painting, Fu Baoshi's Changsha and Li Keran's Wanshanhongbian.
Grand Hyatt Changsha is designed by LTW Designworks. The starting point of lighting design in this case is based on the interpretation of interior design and respect for users. The design of the hotel boldly uses different shades of red ink in these two works, which are cleverly transformed into the interior space. The use of natural materials and decoration, the fusion of traditional Chinese design elements at the same time, the Xiangjiang River presents the smooth flow of the vigorous momentum. Upon entering the hotel lobby, guests can feel the splendor of the golden autumn on Mount Yueluand by the Xiangjiang River.
The double-height art wall in the hotel lobby is the visual focus of the entrance. The subtle light and shadow relationship formed when the fixturesgraze down from the upper ceiling enables people to feel the details on the facade. The grille of the second floor facade emphasizes the feeling of enclosing the space, and the light rises and falls with the different tilting angles of the grille. The red background highlightedby the wall grazer so that the reception desk in the distance stands out, which indicatesthe direction of the guests.
The hotel has five restaurants with differentstyles, including Chinese food, Western-style food, all-day dining, barbecue restaurant and bar. According to the dining space with different themes, the distribution and contrast of lighting also change accordingly, so as to meet the diverse dining atmosphere.
The painted board art with red as the fundamental key runs through the whole hotel, making the connection between spacesand excessive unity. The lighting focuses on the contrasting color on the facade, making it more prominent in the space and guiding the route and sightline of people.
Delicate art collection is another featureof the Grand Hyatt Changsha, the lights give every piece of art unique temperament, for its infuse soul, small to a furnishing articles, big to a group of the statues, the Angle and position of the fixture after repeated testing and adjusting, the hotel has become a unique art, past an Oriental verve sculptures have more levels of light and shadow, as if life are obtained.
Different spaces of the hotel have unique properties, and the lighting changes according to different functions and requirements. The technique is changing. What remains unchanged is that light can always produce some kind of "chemical reaction" with indoor materials, which often constitutes people's emotional appeal to the living place. What we have done is to make this part of appeal come true.
Ink isdivided into five colors, will be a infinite artistic conception of Changsha, light and shadow, add a few more wonderful to Grand Hyatt.
