Product Introduction
This combined pH electrode features a glass shaft with a 25 mm length and 6 mm diameter, adopting an open junction design and LoT membrane glass. Its measuring range covers pH 1–11, with a sample temperature range of 0 °C to 100 °C, while the built-in NTC 30 kΩ temperature probe supports temperature compensation. It uses the ARGENTHAL™ reference system with Ag⁺-trap and XEROLYT® EXTRA polymer reference electrolyte; the membrane resistance at 25°C is less than 250 MΩ. Equipped with Intelligent Sensor Management (ISM®), it enables automatic sensor recognition and stores calibration history, delivering low-maintenance operation and chemical robustness. This analog signal sensor comes with a MultiPin™ connector on the probe, and the cable to the meter is detachable and flexible (cable not included). The minimum required sample volume is 20 mL, designed for puncture measurement inside solid and semi-solid samples such as fruits, vegetables, cheese, meat and fish.
Built to be used with SevenExcellence™, SevenCompact™
InLab® Solids & Solids Pro are combination pH electrodes with option of a variety of connectors.
The spear shaped tip has been designed for easy piercing of fruit, cheese, meats, etc
Designed for measuring samples with a tough exterior, the InLab® Solids has a "spear" shaped bulb for easy piercing.
The InLab®Solids electrode has been designed with long life in mind. The fine-pored ceramic junction used in conventional electrodes can easily become contaminated when measuring the pH of food samples. In contrast the InLab®Solids electrode with a solid polymeric electrolyte requires no junction at all. As a result these sensors are particularly insensitive to contamination. The reference electrode on these sensors is in direct contact with the measured medium by means of an open junction, hence there is no junction to block.
Service life and measurement accuracy are further improved by the ARGENTHAL™ reference system which reduces loss of silver chloride from the reference wire at differing sample temperatures.
The tough glass shaft resists breakage and makes the InLab®Solids suitable for near process and factory applications.
