A New Milestone in the East African Market. CHM recently completed the delivery of a complete A4 copy paper production solution to a customer in Somalia. The core equipment includes the
A4-2 production line and
A4B automatic packaging machine. The equipment has now been successfully installed, commissioned, and officially put into production.
Responding to Local Production Needs with a Well-Matched Equipment Solution
As demand for copy paper continues to grow across Africa’s education, office, and commercial sectors, more local businesses are investing in paper processing capabilities. The Somali customer chose CHM’s A4-2 and A4B combination solution for its overall advantages in high-speed cutting, automatic packaging, and stable operation.
The A4-2 sheeter efficiently converts jumbo paper rolls into accurately cut finished sheets, while the A4B automatic packaging machine handles the subsequent bagging and sealing process. Working together, the two machines can significantly shorten the production cycle and improve finished-product consistency.
Bridging the Distance with On-Site Service
From equipment completion and sea transportation to the arrival of engineers at the customer’s factory, CHM provided full-process support throughout the project. Our on-site engineers worked closely with the customer’s team to complete equipment positioning, mechanical installation, electrical commissioning, and load testing step by step.
A Group Photo Behind Trust and Partnership
At the completion of the project, CHM engineers took group photos with the Somali factory team on the production line. Behind these photos were days of close cooperation and joint commissioning, as well as the customer’s recognition of CHM’s products and services. These photos not only record the successful completion of the project but also serve as a lasting reminder of the long-term partnership between both sides.
Looking Ahead: Continuing to Expand into Emerging Markets
The successful completion of the Somalia project further strengthens CHM’s project experience in the African market. CHM will continue to focus on the development needs of emerging markets, providing equipment configurations tailored to local requirements and timely on-site service to help customers around the world build stable and efficient paper processing capabilities.
