Van Truck Parts and Trailer Twist Lock

Trailers work hard and are handled roughly, so many of their components have to be replaced long before the structure wears out — door locks, hinges and door seals are the usual first casualties. The twist locks that hold a container down on the trailer bed belong in the same group of small, safety-critical wearing parts: a lock that is not fully engaged is a container that can shift, or come off, on the road.

Two things decide which part you need. The part itself: door locks, hinges and door seals for the trailer body, or the twist locks that tie the container to the chassis. The fit: twist locks come with weld-on or bolt-on base plates, in manual and spring-loaded designs, and the base has to suit your chassis and its position along the bed, because front and rear locks are not always the same. This is where most wrong orders start, so send the trailer type and a photo of the part and its mounting rather than a name alone.

Tell us the trailer type, the part, the quantity and the mounting arrangement, and we will confirm the specification and quote.
