What external factors affect the actual lighting performance of solar lights?

① Shade or dust on solar panels; ② Local sunshine duration; ③ Low ambient temperature (reduces battery activity); ④ Installation angle of the light. Regular wiping of solar panels maintains charging efficiency.

Why does the solar light battery degrade over time?

Lithium batteries suffer normal wear from repeated charge and discharge cycles. Capacity naturally declines after 3–5 years of use, which is normal. Most models support battery replacement to cut maintenance costs.

Why does runtime decrease on rainy days?

Without sunlight for consecutive days, battery power keeps draining and brightness will gradually drop. The light resumes charging once sunny weather returns.

Do you support OEM/ODM customization?

Lumen refers to light brightness; the higher the value, the brighter the light. CCT (color temperature) indicates light color. 2700K-3000K warm yellow light is ideal for garden landscapes; 4000K neutral white; 6000K cool white.

What are lumen (Lm) and color temperature (K)?
Does the solar panel need direct sunlight to charge?

Direct sunlight delivers the fastest charging. Scattered light on cloudy days also enables charging but at a slower speed. It is recommended to avoid shade from trees or eaves during installation to ensure sufficient light exposure.

What is the difference between monocrystalline and polycrystalline solar panels?

Monocrystalline panels feature higher conversion efficiency, better charging performance under weak light (cloudy days, scattered light), and longer service life. Polycrystalline panels are lower-cost and work under strong sunlight.

Yes. Custom options include housing color, logo, packaging, color temperature and light modes. We can also develop new resin-shaped solar lights.

How does the solar light work?

In the daytime, the monocrystalline solar panel converts light energy into electric energy and stores it in the built-in lithium battery. At dusk, the photosensitive sensor is triggered, and the controller drives the LED to light up. It automatically turns off at dawn and resumes charging.

How many light modes are available? Can brightness be adjusted?

Light-activated auto on/off is standard (auto on at dusk, auto off at dawn). Some models support adjustment of lighting duration or brightness for your selection.

Are your solar lights resistant to wind and rain?

Yes.

- IP64 models: Fully dust-tight and resistant to water splashes from all directions. Suitable for outdoor garden use and withstand normal wind and rain. Do not spray with high-pressure water guns or submerge the light.

- IP65 models: Dustproof and resistant to low-pressure water spray, offering better protection in heavy rain. Widely used for pillar lights and project street lights.

Strong wind will not damage the light itself. For areas with extreme wind, secure installation is required to prevent the light from falling.

What is the light control function of solar lights?

It can light overnight for 1–3 consecutive rainy nights. Brightness will slightly decrease as power drops, and the light will recharge automatically once the sun comes out.

How many rainy nights can solar lights keep lighting?
How long can solar lights stay on at night after fully charged?

When fully charged, regular decorative solar lights run continuously for 8–12 hours. Some high-power project models can reach 12–18 hours. Actual runtime is affected by sunlight exposure on solar panels, battery capacity, light mode and ambient temperature. PIR motion sensor mode greatly extends battery life.

Does stronger sunlight make the solar light brighter at night?

No. LED brightness is determined by LED bead power. Sunlight only charges the battery. Strong sunlight speeds up charging and will not directly increase night-time brightness.

A built-in photosensitive sensor detects ambient brightness. The light turns on automatically at dusk and off at dawn. No manual switch or wiring is required.
