Calcium Chloride Dihydrate (CaCl₂·2H₂O) is a high-purity inorganic calcium salt presented as white or off-white uniform granules. It is odorless, slightly bitter, and extremely hygroscopic, deliquescing rapidly in humid air. The product dissolves quickly in water with obvious heat release, and the aqueous solution is weakly alkaline. Divided into 74% and 77% industrial grades, the granules are full, round, fluid, dust-free and easy to feed. With stable physical and chemical properties, it is widely used in petroleum drilling, water treatment, snow melting, refrigeration circulation, construction antifreeze and industrial dehumidification fields.

3. Product Characteristics

3.1 74% Granular Calcium Chloride Dihydrate

The 74% grade is a mainstream general industrial specification with stable purity standards. The granules are uniform, round and dust-free, suitable for both manual and mechanical feeding. It features fast dissolution, uniform heat release, excellent hygroscopicity and strong anti-caking performance without hardening during long-term storage. With extremely high cost performance, low consumption and stable effect, it is the preferred raw material for large-scale industrial scenarios such as snow melting, conventional water treatment and industrial drying.

3.2 77% Granular Calcium Chloride Dihydrate

The 77% high-purity refined grade contains higher effective ingredients with stricter control of sulfate and other impurities. It provides clearer aqueous solution, fewer contaminants and lower equipment corrosion. The full and regular granules with higher density deliver better hygroscopic, snow-melting and water conditioning performance than the 74% grade. With more stable overall performance, it adapts to high-precision water treatment, petroleum drilling, precision refrigeration circulation and low-corrosion industrial scenarios, effectively reducing equipment scaling and operation & maintenance costs.

Petroleum Drilling Industry:Widely used in onshore and offshore oilfield drilling, cementing and workover operations for preparing drilling fluid, completion fluid and workover fluid. It effectively increases mud density, balances formation pressure, stabilizes well walls, inhibits clay hydration and expansion, and prevents well collapse, stuck pipe and lost circulation, stabilizing drilling conditions and improving operation efficiency.
Water Treatment Industry:Applied in comprehensive treatment of industrial circulating cooling water, industrial wastewater and municipal sewage. It adjusts water hardness, flocculates and precipitates suspended solids, removes phosphorus and heavy metal ions, and reduces water turbidity.
